Pricing
How pricing is arranged
We do not publish a standard price list. Costs depend on your goods, order volumes, storage and handling needs, so the scope of work and rates are set out in a quotation for your account.
What a quotation covers
The areas below are discussed with you; not every account uses all of them.
- Goods receipt
- Unloading and checking incoming deliveries, and booking stock in. Handling varies with how goods arrive, for example loose cartons or pallets.
- Storage
- Space for your stock while it is held with us. The amount and type of space depend on your products and how long they stay.
- Picking and packing
- Selecting items for each order and packing them for despatch. Order size and product type affect the work involved.
- Packaging materials
- Boxes, mailers, fillers and any bespoke packaging used for your orders, where we supply them.
- Carrier and despatch
- Delivery through our parcel and pallet carrier partners. Costs depend on parcel size, weight, service level and destination.
- Returns and additional work
- Receiving and inspecting returns, reboxing, and contract packing tasks such as kitting, assembly or repackaging.
Information for a quotation
Approximate figures are fine. It helps to know:
- Expected monthly orders, and any seasonal peaks
- Number of product lines (SKUs)
- Product sizes and weights
- Storage requirements, such as pallets, shelving and expected duration
- Typical number of items per order
- Delivery destinations
- Returns handling or packing requirements
